fix broken plastics on our klrs

Post by Mike Frey » Thu May 29, 2008 10:43 am

Although I have no first hand experience with it, I have heard from more than one person that Super Glue Plasti-Fuse, item #15104. One of them repaired a lawn mower gas tank and says that it worked well, saved him the $120 cost of a new one. http://pacertechindustrial.supergluecorp.com/15104.html Virtually all of the plastics on the pre-2008 KLRs is polypropylene. The colored parts definitely are: fenders, radiator shrouds, side covers. I'm not sure about the 2008s simply because I haven't gotten my hands on one yet. Good luck and I would like to hear from anyone, success or fail, who might try it. Mike
