I have yet to have a need for it, but will try it when I do need to build up a new pin. From what I understand, you alternate glue / soda, and buid the material up untill you can shape the final pin . The key to the soda is that it hardens the glue quickly. Shall I call the Mith Busters , and have them check it out? > Wayne(rice)Burner > 1986 KL 600 > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] >

radiator shroud pin repairs
The superglue/baking soda technique definitely works...I used it
successfully on the ABS-type plastic on my '83 GS750ES. I question
whether the mix will stick to a KLR's tupperware plastic.
If you go that route, get some thin superglue at a hobby store. It
soaks into the baking soda better than the thicker stuff.
