Just note regarding the comment below about electric vehicles "putting too much demand on the power grid". Not an issue. Don't worry about it for a long time. I am an Electric Station Operator for the City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, and the system is only carrying about 15%-30% of power available at night. If cars are recharged at night, it would work out well. And if demand increases, the electric utilities are more than happy to expand to sell more electricity. And easiest solution for more power is to build more nuke plants. In a message dated 5/25/2008 8:30:09 A.M.
