In honor of Mother Goose, and one of her kids, who shares our passion for KLRs. There was a young man named Wayne Who rode on his KLR all day When home was in sight Came a goose taking flight Before getting cooked in His grill And the smell gave his dog a thrill R

Thats right folks I did the TAIL OF THE DRAGON again (WHAT A BLAST) By the way I ran acrossed several other KLR riders. Must have been something to do with the rally in the area. But any way back to the story. I cover three states with only one small mistake on my part, When I over shot a turn , No biggy. Well than I was less than a mile from my home, when I came to an area with two small ponds on both sides of the road. Thats when the dumbass goose decided it was time to cross the road. Now know God didn't give geese a brain any bigger than a BB. But way can't they fly above the danger level. This goose bearly got it feet off the ground, when it hit the highway bars ,The right coolant cover and my foot HOLY GOOSE ####. It's ok i'm alright Let's pull over and check the damage. Right cover is hanging by one screw. Mounting bracket is bent. Goose guts all over me and the bike. SOOO instead of parking the bike and popping a cold one, I Had to clean the mess . The worst part was getting the burnt guts off the big gun head pipe Boy was my dog glad to see me. Or maybe she smelled blood... [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
