Stay away from Kawasaki dealer mechanics, they have
the same policy as the doctor 35 years ago who
recommended my wife have a ceasarean delivery, while
she had a perfect normal delivery with another more
honest doctor. The Kawa doctors will not recommend
the doo change, they will forget to grease part of
your swing arm assembly, but they will try to sell you
expensive, unnecessary replacement parts. The dealer
here charges forty dollars for a clutch cable, which I
replaced for one dollar. A new tank was 400 bucks
there about, so I epoxied the old leaking one. So,
get an independent mechanic, or do it yrslf, and get
stuff from Fred and others.
My 2 cents. Jacostarica.
potential clutch and transmission problem?
