side stand safety bypass
Did the safety bypass last night. Cut the wires directly above the
switch, soldered together & the bike started.
What I found surprising is that the bike would start in 1st gear and
the tire turn when the clutch was released, whether the 2 wires were
connected or not. No mistake in choosing the wires as I followed the
directions at www.klr650.marknet.us
hmmm.....

klr air compressor/widder connection help
Tim,
Yes, the compressor will be OK. The polarity isn't an issue, because the pump
works the same regardless of the direction of rotation.
I don't know about the Widder because I don't know whether the polarity is an
issue with the Widder control. But if the polarity is hooked up the same as
what Widder specifies, you'll be OK, too. If the Widder control doesn't have
any electronic parts, (diodes, transisters, etc.), polarity probably isn't an
issue.
