seattle craigslist: two 2006 klr650s and a trailer $10k
One has 45(! ) miles on it, the other has 550 miles. The trailer looks nice
too.
I'm not related to the seller, just passing this on in case someone wants an
essentially new '06 or two. I am tempted to make him (or her?) an offer on
the set just to get the trailer. Anyone want to split this with me?

Well, Jeff hit all the high points of an '08 that should be clear with your dealer while he is standing right there. The only one I didn't see listed;
Check the routing of the wire from your water temperature sending unit that is right next to the spark plug. a number of them rub up against the air injection pipe from the smog pump and they melt the wiring in no time, resulting in a temp reading that varies from "stone cold" to "nuclear meltdown". Proper routing solves the problem after fixing the melted wires.
If you route them correctly now, you'll never melt the wires, and thus won't have to ever fix it later.
