firing up a bike

Post by Moose » Fri Apr 25, 2008 8:31 pm

My buddy and I are going to to look at a 1993 KLR for him tomorrow. Here's the problem...The bike ran last year with about 20K on the motor. A friend of the current owner wrecked his KLR and raided the instrument cluster, front light and all front plastic. The bike should start, but I want to at least kick it over to make sure things aren't locked up. All wiring is exposed, so locating wires shouldn't be a problem, but what wires can I cross to get it to kick. If the bike starts or turns, we can rebuild it! Any hints, tips, etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Moose ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
