My experience as a first time eBay buyer was impossible. PayPal charged me a fee for an account I couldn't figure out how to open. eBay/seller hounded me for an item I could not purchase (no PayPal acc't). eBay still contacts me about an account I canceled. I found the whole experience to be a quagmire. Buying "retail" is a lot easier. ED

It is interesting to know that I am not the only one with a PPP(PayPal Problem). I understand that the service is free up to a certain total on your transactions. They insisted that I pay about $30 annually for the priveledge of dealing through them. The thing that bothered me the most was that trying to deal with Famous Fred in Moab, from Canada, the Paypal form insisted on my naming a state. In Canada the biggest state is Blissful Ignorance, as practiced by our government. When I tried to put in AB (Alberta) it insisted that this was an Alabama address, which meant that I could not place the order. Damned annoying. So I dealt elsewhere. DC Ed Dobson wrote:

It's too bad you didn't read the Shipping Information listed on my web site before you got "Damned annoyed". http://www.angelfire.com/ut/moab/policy.html I ship internationally all the time and if you have an issue with the way my shopping cart works, please contact me directly. The couple times I have ordered, Fred picks up the phone, and I gave him my card # over the phone and tell him what I want and it showed up at my door a few days ( Remote area I lived in at the time ) Seemed simple to me. Dooden A15 Green Ape

Hmmm, last month Stu said the same thing about Barack Obama. I wonder what Fred's mechanical advisor REALLY thinks about KLR's? :) R -----Original Message----- From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com [mailto:DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com]On Behalf Of Stuart Mumford Sent: Friday, April 04, 2008 3:39 PM To: No Reply Subject: [DSN_KLR650] RE: Re: "seller retaliatory feedback." on EBay NKLR
