Some how I lost my battery cover holder kawasaki part # 13091-1484, my bike is a 2000 KLR650. You can check out the parts diagram here https://www.kawasakiepc.com/SystemSearch_Frames.cfm? You can use a large washer with a bolt to hold the battery in so you can ride until the correct part is available. Walt

Walt, I am guessing your solution-suggestion would be a fender washer. For those who might not know: Those large flat washers that are about 10% hole, and lots of flat metal-'washer', rather than the std washer that is about 90% hole and 10% metal. Take your large oval head screw (~1/4"?) with you when you go. cough. Or are we to guess, the screw got away with the battery cover? I believe it is the same screw (pitch and size) as holds on the plastic side covers just below the seat, and you should be able to find one available at any place that has a large selection of metric bolts, etc. On another note, thanks for the Odeysey battery input. revmaaatin.

Bob, It was all looking pretty good to me , until I got to the 350 lb capacity. Your KLR is a heavy weight, and I would not trust that lift. My Craftsman lift Does not lift to 36", but has lifted alot of bikes and four wheelers since I got it, with not even one complaint. It was under a hundred dollars at my local Sears store. You can lift it up, strap the bike securly,take the wheels off if you need to, and roll the lift with the bike still on anywhere you want.
