farkle final point - anyone? nklr-ish
I am curious, has anyone in KLR recorded history ever gotten to the
point where they sat back and said, "I have added every piece of
farkle that I ever wanted, or want. The farkle-azation of my KLR is
complete" Just curious; has anyone every fully farkleized their KLR?

I don't know if I would say my KLR is "fully-farkleized", but after a few years of fun, I reached the point where I said to myself, "enough". It's been a couple of years since I added anything, unless you count one of those stickers that's styled to mimic the BMW roundel. I even have a couple of things lying around that seemed real necessary when I bought them, but haven't yet found their way onto the bike.> > I am curious, has anyone in KLR recorded history ever gotten to the > point where they sat back and said, "I have added every piece of > farkle that I ever wanted, or want. +1 to what Jud said about being "done".
Norm was the farkle king AFAIK, but he bought another bike (Concours?) and hasn't been on the list in a while.

<><><><><><><> <><><><><><><> Eddie, I haven't reached that point yet but I'm not far from it. : ) With the second radiator project completed last week and over 200 smiles testing it I think that will take care of my hot weather slow riding issues. On Monday I finished adding relays for my headlight circuits and I'm now in the middle of adding a dual control heat troller for my heated grips. Yesterday I purchased a second harness for the Nelson Rigg CL-650 tank bag I bought to test as a tail bag. I'm thinking when I get that harness cut up and installed on the rear of the bike I should be good to go for a long time. Well, maybe I'll try adding bar risers of some sort but I think that'll be about it. I've been adding to, subtracting from and modifying my KLR since I bought it in the fall of 2003. It's just about where I'd really like to see it. Remember Norm Keller? Seemed as though his goal was to make 100 mods. He did it. Sold the bike and bought a Honda xyz bike. Unfortunately I wore 34 pants in 9th grade, and I was skinny at the
time! Alan Henderson A13 Iowa not so skinny anymore
