I just wanted to mention a good experience with a recent purchase. I placed an order for several items with tpimotorcycleparts.com. When the parts arrived, The tire that I ordered was the wrong one . I ordered a kenda 761 and got a 270. When I contacted tpi they told me no problem, Just keep the the tire and we will ship you the right one. I should also mention that the first order was at my door step the the next day. Check them out, Good people --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

2008 blows main fuse?

Kawi changed the fuses to blade-type for '08 so while you're troubleshooting this problem you can replace the fuse with a mini circuit breaker. That should help you get out of the mountains without carrying a pocketful of mountains--unless whatever is causing this gets bad enough to cause a permanent short. I'd take a look under the tape to see what was suspect, then find someone to do the tests that Jeff recommended. You won't have peace of mind until you find the problem. No tools? The '08 keeps them in the same place as the older models. __Arden

So I had it towed to my local shop, he never really did find any blatant trouble, though he saw some wiring running along the fram under the tank that "could have been" suspect. He taped them up and it is running, but now it has me scared, my days off are spent alone, 30-40-60 miles into the mountenous interior here in WA, would hate to have the same thing happen on one of those rides. > Anyone have suggestions on where I might look? > Also, side note, ordered my Zumo 550, should I wire it myslef or have a pro do it? > > > ______________________________________________________________________ ______________ > Never miss a thing.
