I have a new dished Corbin seat on my 08. I like it. I tend to be vertically challenged and it made it a lot easier to touch the ground. I got the asphalt black vinyl. It is not slippery. It did come away from the foam as was reported by another post. I called the dealer and they were aware of the problem. It was caused by the new glue that they have to us in California that is water soluble to meet pollution standards. My dealer in BC re glued my seat with the glue they used previously .
No charge . I have not rode the bike since I have received the seat back as I live in the great white north.
Myself and a friend From BC are doing a month long cross Canada trip this summer we both have 08 KLRs that are set up the same.
I guess I will know about a lot of thing when we get home . Tires oil seats luggage Nerf bars etc.

I feels funny at first, but gets better when you slid back .Also its very slick. If you grab a handful of brakes you can crush the boys into the gas tank.Is there any thing that can apply to the seat for better grip.
