dakar rally 2008 cancelled nklr
Spot on, Z. It's pretty easy to yell "Freedom Fries," slap a flag on
your car and take a cheap shot at the French. It's another to
consider the safety and security of 3000 people strung out across the
deserts of northern Africa for a few weeks. Is there a military on
the planet that's effective against guerilla warfare where you can't
tell the innocent bystander from the suicide bomber, the farmer from
the militiaman? How many racers/support crew/fans would have to die
before it was considered manly enough to cancel the event?
