Now, where in the heck is the Aztec Red at ?? Wallie's World,Home Chamber Pot, ie Home Depot,Lowe's ?? I just need a spray can .. HELP ?? My wife finger nail polish just flakes off ... ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! "I looked, and looked, can't seem to find it: Krylon Fusion" If you look at AutoZone and Pep Boy, you may find it. There was a red, but since I have a Barbie bike, I didn't need it, sooo, if you want to look there, you may find it. I know they have a red, but the only real way to tell is to pick it up and test it. I don't have any plastics to compare with. Seems like I have seen it at Home Depot. I bought a can at a True Value Hardware store. That has been a while back though. maybe they quit carrying it. Criswell

klx300 choke performance in cold weather

Post by Luke in Brooklyn » Thu Jan 03, 2008 8:44 am

I swapped a KLX carb mounted choke onto my bike last spring after the regular choke cable snapped (it's a hassle to lube, so I didn't... goes to show ya). Worked like a charm, but now that it's cold (cold here means low 20sF) the bike is *really* slow to start. Turns over for a good 7-10 seconds before it catches, then just barely runs for the first 5 or 10 seconds more. With the original choke, it just fired right up regardless of temperature. I'm not looking for suggestions on what to check out for a hard starting bike, I'm looking for experience from other folks who've put a KLX choke on their KLR regarding really cold starts. Thanks all! Luke Brooklyn NY 92 CB750 nighthawk--naked simpleton 03 KLR650--fat girl with a dirty mind --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals?
