Don't believe everything you read, as the scientific and religious community on this board has been so thoroughly exploring recently. :) R -----Original Message----- From: Ernie Campbell [mailto:hotfoot777@...] Sent: Wednesday, December 12, 2007 8:42 PM To: Russell Scott; KListeRs Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] Progressive Suspension fork springs installed yet the book says no pressure and the fork sticker say you can, i dont use air in my forks i think its too hard on the seals.it would be better to use longer spacers and heavier fork oil. the 08 doesnt even have airvalves Ernie Campbell http://www.oldskoolklr650.com

That was childs play. I did not even take the forks off the bike. The only part that was not childs play was cutting one of the spacers into two pieces.I had a pipe cutter but it was dull and so it took a bit longer. But it still only took about ten minutes from beginning to end.I could not believe it really. I was expecting it to be a minor pain like a KLX fork spring. If everyone knew how easy it is to install those Progressive Suspension fork springs on KLRs....Progressive would not be able to make them fast enough.
