I just finished installing Progressive Suspension front springs. That was childs play. I did not even take the forks off the bike.The only part that was not childs play was cutting one of the spacers into two pieces.I had a pipe cutter but it was dull and so it took a bit longer. But it still only took about ten minutes from beginning to end.I could not believe it really. I was expecting it to be a minor pain like a KLX fork spring. If everyone knew how easy it is to install those Progressive Suspension fork springs on KLRs....Progressive would not be able to make them fast enough.

Put about 15 lbs of air in the forks, and a TKC-80, and you will be amazed how well the bike handles off road. yet the book says no pressure and the fork sticker say you can, i dont use air in my forks i think its too hard on the seals.it would be better to use longer spacers and heavier fork oil. the 08 doesnt even have airvalves Ernie Campbell http://www.oldskoolklr650.com
