how to know if timing chain is loose?
That's true only if the tensioner is working. That is one of the things
that fail on the KLX and they have a manual tensioner set up to replace
the spring and ratchet mech. So far that doesn't appear as a huge
problem with the KLR but just shows that it is something to think about.
