What is an "O-ring" chain? what do the numbers on a tire define, like 90/90-21 or 130/80-17? I guess the last number is whell diameter but what is the 2 numbers before that? ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com Visit the KLR650 archives at http://www.listquest.com/lq/search.html?ln=klr650 Support Dual Sport News... dsneditor@... [dsn_klr650] chain + tires?
O-rings are little rubber rings which hold lubricants in the rollers. the first 90 is the width, the second 90 is the aspect ratio, which is the percentage of the width in height. So the 130 is that many millimeters wide, and the 80 is 80 percent of those 130 mm in height. Condoms are measured using a similar formula. Get the biggest radials you can fit on there.
