[dsn_klr650] seat height

Post by James Chan » Wed Apr 26, 2000 9:59 am

Humblest Apologies for the previous empty post, ( my nervous trigger finger acting up again... ) I have the lowering links, and raised the forks an inch above the triple clamps... I am happy with these mods, and feel that they significantly improve the handling of the bike... I have also trimmed down the seat, so that it now 'cups' my posterior... it is now much more comfortable, am able to do 500 mile trips without the previous discomfort, as ( I think ) my tailbone, and backside are better supported now. This mod has also enabled me to touch the ground with both feet no problemo... I'm only 1.72m ( 5'8" )BTW. A writeup and some pictures of it are available at: angelfire.com/journal/jcbikes Hope this helps... Cheers, JC
