Without the walk-through, I'd simply call it "absolutely minimalist."

Same can be said for GC; I believe I registered it some 10 years
ago... I've not looked in the docs for GC since the switch to OS
X... I haven't needed to.
It's the same author for the 3rd party manual, IIRC.
