B9 Robot Nickel Coin Carving

Post by dschulpius » Thu Dec 31, 2015 2:29 am

Hi all, I received an email from a guy that carves really cool "real" coins. He's done one of our big B9 friend. He sent me a picture but it's gone now. I've asked him to send another and I'll post it then. In the meantime you can have a quick look on at the fillowing link. Teh coin he carves is at the bottom. I think you'll see the one to look at. LOL: https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1003435106380159&id=100001410361961&set=a.975185652538438.1073741838.100001410361961&source=56&ref=bookmarks
He's thinking of offering a limited pressing cast in sterling silver for collectors. He didn't give any details on price or timetables yet. I think he's trying to get an a feel on interest. Here's his email:
" I am a 60 year old hobo nickel carver, who loved the show as a kid...I just thought that of all people who are B-9 fans, this group would get a kick out of my most recent sculpture cut on a Buffalo nickel...be kind...I know it's not technically spot on as far as accuracy...lol! Feel free to post my pic if you think your group will enjoy. Thanks, Chris Deflorentis"
