Okay the commentary on "The Anti-Matter Man" is absolutely hysterical!!! When they're all discussing a certain set piece in the background. I was laughing so hard I was in tears! And the thing is, I never noticed this! So hilarious!!   -Roy

Looks like Mike Joyce's robots make an appearance in the "Tribute To Irwin and Sheila Allen" section! How cool is that?!?  -Roy

Today I sit down and finished all of the bonus features on Disc 6 - except the Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen which I had seen before.

The "read through" of LOST IN SPACE:THE EPILOGUE is fantastic.  They've added some sound effects and music and have spliced in some stock footage that makes the story more enjoyable.  Kevin Burns absolutely channeled Jonathan Harris.  I was surprised that even watching a table read - this story and performances moved me.  It was fun to see Bill, Mark, Marta, and Angela all in character.  And, we see Don and Judy actually kiss  - which we've never seen before.
The GALLERY of photos is very nice.  Many I have seen before and many I have not seen.  All color - corrected and in glorious High Definition.

The Cast interviews are also good - particularly Bill Mumy doing a show and tell of some things he's kept over the years related to LOST IN SPACE.

You can tell I think that the participants really enjoyed doing these extras and bonus bits.

So they had Kevin's B9 there - because he has a part too.  But, the claws - someone - PLEASE - send Kevin Burns accurate claws.  They look horrible.

Now, on to some more commentaries.  --phil

LIS Bluray

Post by sjb0459 » Sat Dec 26, 2015 10:53 am

It's amazing the detail in these discs and how much more you see.  I was just watching the 'Time Merchant' and noticed something I have never seen before.  At around 30 minutes into the episode when Smith returns in the transporter cage, when he appears you can clearly see it's a stunt double wearing a Smith mask.  It then cuts to a close up and it's the real Smith.  I've watched this episode many times on the DVD's but have never noticed this before.

I love the detail also! I guess Jonathan Harris didn't want a fire extinguisher sprayed in his face! Haha!   -Roy

Hi Phil!    Believe it or not, I'm still waiting on it! The lady running that operation apologized profusely but I'm still waiting on the book and the postcards. Sounds like she had a lot of problems with getting all the materials.       -Roy
