We had a very positive experience at the Orlando Safari facility. The bolts between the engine compartment and the side of the coach (Trek) had fallen out, and they did a very through fix . Joann and John Figueras, '94 Trek

In defense of the SMC service facility in the Orlando area, keep in mind they see a lot of coaches and give it their best shot. These guys are paid to solve and fix problems. But more importantly they WANT to solve and fix your problem. For the most part, given enough time, they can resolve most any problem. Do things go wrong, and are there mis-diagnosis ? Of course. No doubt more attention should have been given to remedying problems at the assembly lines in the first place instead of just cranking out coaches for market share. Having to absorb the cost of fixing problems under warranty are (or were) way to high for SMC. I personally had a problem with my coach from the get go that after finally being remedied had to have eat'n up any profit (if not more) that SMC made on the coach. But for the most part, the techs WANTED to solve the problem as quick as they could with what they had on hand. The problem with the tech center is the both the lead time involved in booking an appointment and then the amount of time they can spend on your problem once you get it to them. Some problems have to be solved immediately, not in seven weeks or longer time. Customers pay whole dollars for their coaches and they have a right to expect quality and trouble free operation from their purchase. If they are denied that they have a stronger right to a timely and proper repair. RG

Hi! What did they do to accomplish the "very thorough fix" on those bolts??? Several people are wondering. Thanks!
