We had similar problems and solved them with ordinary picture hangers, albeit,, small nails are used, but what we hung doesn't weigh much. Re: [Safarifriends] Adhesive I used a hot glue gun to attach the Velcro to the picture frame, but the next day the frame was laying on my couch again.  I was hoping that was the answer, but alas!
