Many of us found this out in March 1998 from Marty Kuntz a great TREAKER, who has since passed away. I got a new set of lamps from Safari about April of 1998 and installed them right side up and have had no problem since. I had to make the socket size larger with a drill and circular file for the new lamps to fit. I thought the factory sent out a notice. I know we notified them. Go to our web page for other mods.
