We have a '94 Trek, and in '98 discovered several 'bubbles' under the decal below the refrigerator vent door. I picked at them, and found that they were corroded through the aluminum skin. Safari said it was caused by water getting behind the skin and that we needed to have the whole panel replaced. Instead, we took it to a body shop in Portales, Mexico, and had the holes filled and the section repainted. So far it's OK. As to the water leak--it was probably caused by the horizontal trim strip. Caulk on the top side of that strip was broken, and water had gotten in and couldn't get out.
